About Me

I'm Jerry Lee Melton, a creative software engineer and designer. I'm from Los Angeles, CA, but I currently live in Portland, OR with my wife and our three cats.

I've been designing things for over a decade and writing code professionally for over three years, so I'm equally likely to have excessively strong opinions about typefaces as I am about Typescript generics. I work primarily with React, Typescript, and Go, and I believe that good design is the difference between software that people love and software that people merely tolerate.

When I'm not glued to my computer coding, I love playing one of my ten guitars, photography, cooking, and playing entirely too much Magic the Gathering.
